Primary Aim
Plan, implement, and evaluate nutrition management for patients and clients of Knight Allied Health Care. Deliver dietetic clinics at relevant outreach areas, including inpatient care. Participate in providing health promotional and educational opportunities to Bundaberg and surrounding townships. Be a Credentialed Diabetes Educator or work towards attaining this qualification to provide Diabetes Education services.
Primary Duties
1. Plan, implement, and evaluate evidence-based medical nutrition therapy for clients to achieve positive health outcomes.
2. Provide services focused on self-empowerment and sustainable health management.
3. Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and other healthcare professionals regarding nutrition management within the multidisciplinary team.
4. Liaise with other health professionals to develop treatment plans and preventative initiatives to reduce nutrition-related diseases.
5. Document all activities systematically, including consultations and communications, to meet organizational and legal requirements.
6. Support and provide learning opportunities for team members.
7. Maintain professional knowledge through ongoing education and in-service programs.
8. Participate in continuing education, quality assurance, and resource development.
