As we continue to grow our capabilities across current and future major infrastructure projects across Pilbara, we're seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team.
This leadership role will be instrumental in overseeing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the efficient delivery of materials and services for some of Western Australia's most significant infrastructure projects with FIFO Opportunities.As the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and implementing systems and processes to ensure that all goods and services are procured in a timely and compliant manner.
You\'ll lead the subcontractor/supplier procurement in order to attain the procurement objectives and optimise the supply chain engagement.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the Procurement team to execute the wider Procurement strategy, in conjunction with the team, including strategic planning for key packages and long lead itemsClosely support key stakeholders across the business/projects, to administer the cost planning process, enhance risk management systems and promote opportunities for the businessContribute to Risk and Opportunity systems and lead the development of registers for your area of control to manage and control risk and maximise opportunitiesProfessional management of Tender Probity, State Government Procurement Policy, Commercial Governance, auditing & reporting, and Business Risk ManagementDemonstrate leadership and assist in creating and sustaining a culture to develop and retain a high-performing teamAbout YouRequired Skills and CompetenciesRelevant tertiary qualification strongly preferred but not essentialConstruction, project or manufacturing environment strongly preferredDemonstrated ability to execute large procurement programs from concept through implementation, ideally within the construction industrySound commercial acumen accompanied by proven negotiation and inter-relationship skillsStrong knowledge in the full scope of procuring and packaging technical works /materials, from development of scope and RFQ documentation, managing the tendering process, commercial review and working with the contracts team to award of contractExtensive exposure in Contracts negotiation, auditing, compliance and risk managementDemonstrated experience leading high-performing Contracts Administration and/or Procurement teamsACCIONA has been given the Top Employer 2022, 2023, 2024 & 2025 certification in Australia, which certifies the company\'s commitment to excellence in human resources management and those who focus on putting their people first through their exceptional HR policies.
