Ready to take the next step in your retail leadership career? As an Assistant Store Manager at ALDI, you will take charge of daily operations, drive sales, and inspire your team to perform at their best. You support the Store Manager in all areas of running a multi‐million‐dollar business, from motivating team members to rostering and reporting.
Responsibilities
* Help develop the next generation of leaders by training and coaching team members.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and well‐presented store at all times.
* Manage inventory and stock, minimising losses and ensuring accurate stock levels.
* Assist with registers, shelf filling and merchandising of special buys.
* Identify opportunities for improvement and propose innovative solutions.
* Ensure smooth store operations, fostering customer satisfaction.
* Act as the store manager in their absence, fully running the store.
Qualifications
* Experience leading teams, especially in a customer‐facing environment.
* Excellent communication skills that inspire teammates and delight customers.
* Strong motivation, training and coaching skills.
* Ability to support the Store Manager in achieving store results.
* Professional, responsible and reliable approach to work.
* Capacity to work independently and enforce ALDI policies and procedures.
