The Supply Chain Manager will play a pivotal role in optimising our logistics and distribution processes at our facility in Murray Downs, New South Wales. This permanent, full-time position is essential for ensuring the efficient flow of goods and services, ultimately contributing to the overall success of our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in supply chain management and demonstrate the ability to lead teams effectively.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement supply chain strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
* Oversee inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained.
* Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate contracts and improve service delivery.
* Monitor and analyse supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
* Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
* Coordinate logistics and distribution activities to ensure timely delivery of products.
* Manage budgets and forecasts related to supply chain operations.
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Qualifications
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Proven experience in leading teams and managing projects.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
* Proficiency in supply chain management and related software and tools such as Almads, Team Assurance, Operator Feedback Systems, Netsuite, and Seaways.
* Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
