What You'll Do:
* Provide technical and engineering support across the full lifecycle of water infrastructure projects, ensuring all work meets industry standards, technical specifications, and safety, regulatory, and environmental requirements.
* Prepare, review, and maintain accurate technical documentation, including design reports, engineering drawings, and specifications that support high‐quality project delivery.
* Contribute to the conceptualisation, design, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring solutions are fit‐for‐purpose and customer‐focused.
* Participate in design reviews to assess functionality, and cost‐effectiveness of proposed solutions.
* Work collaboratively with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to support seamless project execution within agreed timelines and budgets.
* Provide clear, practical technical advice on design, installation, and commissioning matters, proactively resolving issues to keep projects moving.
* Support a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the Actemium Water Infrastructure Business Unit, contributing ideas and approaches that enhance service delivery.
What You'll Bring
* Strong capability in applying engineering principles to real‐world project challenges, with a proven track record of delivering compliant, safe, and technically sound outcomes.
* High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate, high‐quality technical documentation.
* Demonstrated success supporting multidisciplinary projects from early concept through to commissioning.
* Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build productive relationships and collaborate across teams.
* A proactive mindset, with the ability to provide sound technical advice and contribute to innovative, customer‐focused solutions.
* Experience conducting or contributing to design reviews and assessing technical and commercial feasibility.
* A team‐oriented approach, with a reputation for reliability, initiative, and contributing positively to workplace culture.
Essential Qualifications
* Certificate III in Electrotechnology or a tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering.
* Class C Driver Licence (QLD).
Desirable
* First Aid Certificate and CPR.
* Certificate III or IV in Instrumentation and Control.
* Construction Industry White Card.
