Midwifery Student Opportunity
This role offers a unique chance to gain experience in midwifery, working alongside experienced professionals in a tertiary referral centre. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work across antenatal and postnatal wards, including the pregnancy assessment space.

* In accordance with agency policy and legal requirements, the Registered Undergraduate Student of Midwifery (RUSOM) works within the RUSOM workplace guidelines to provide care as delegated by the Midwife, and within the direction and supervision of the midwife in accordance with the midwifery care plan.
* You will need to demonstrate understanding of woman centred care, family centred care and Baby Friendly Health Initiatives (BFHI) principles.
* Able to work as an effective team member in a healthcare environment, within a multidisciplinary team.

Role Details
This is a fixed term, part-time position, working 40 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for approximately twelve (12) months.

Eligibility Criteria
an undergraduate Bachelor of Midwifery student who has successfully completed all first year course requirements, including clinical practice placements.
Current Working with Children Registration.
