About the Role
As the Assistant Store Manager, you'll work closely with the Store Manager to lead the team and ensure the store runs smoothly day‑to‑day. You'll play a key role in driving sales, delivering exceptional customer service, and supporting team development. Key Responsibilities
* Lead the store team to achieve sales targets and uphold customer service standards.
* Manage day‑to‑day store operations, ensuring smooth functioning.
* Support team development and motivation.
* Drive consultative sales and customer relationships.
* Maintain visual merchandising and inventory controls.
Skills and Experience
* Previous experience in a retail leadership role (Supervisor, 2IC or ASM level).
* Strong selling skills, ideally with experience in high‑ticket items.
* A customer‑first mindset with excellent communication skills.
* Ability to support and motivate a small team.
* Reliable and organised, with flexibility to work weekends and peak trading periods.
