KAEFER Integrated Services – QA/QC Inspector
We are looking for a QA/QC Inspector to join an upcoming shutdown in Gladstone. The shutdown is scheduled to begin in May 2026 with some prework potential. You will be required to stay in Gladstone for the duration of the shutdown. Accommodation will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise the delivery of shutdowns and performance of employees to ensure compliance with the authorised Health, Safety and Environment Management Plan, including all relevant systems and procedures.
* Apply a high level of professional and technical skill in leading effective project management services, including planning, preparation, delivery, controls and completion of projects as required by the Area Manager.
* Provide consistent leadership, direction and support to teams that ensures work is carried out in a safe, efficient and effective manner that meets the client's needs.
* In consultation with the Superintendent, undertake general Human Resource functions including performance management activities that identify and address both areas for improvement and potential promotion/progression opportunities for employees.
* Maintain and demonstrate a high level of compliance with all Kaefer systems, policies and procedures in both own performance and that of accountable employees.
* Develop and maintain effective and professional working relationships with existing and potential clients, as well as other Kaefer divisions, that promote the business.
About You
* Demonstrated experience in a similar QA/QC role.
* Mechanical Trade Qualification – Certificate III (mandatory).
* Strong communication skills and comfortable liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
* Highly driven and organised individual.
* Natural passion for leadership and ability to motivate and drive your team.
* Intermediate to advanced computer and database skills including MS Office Suite.
