FOOD SERVICE/DIETARY CARE ASSISTANT- Residential aged care facility

As a Food Service/ Dietary Care Assistant you will assist in preparation and serving of meals to our residents at mecwacare Annie’s Court, a 60-bed facility in Shoreham. Working as part of the Food Services Team, the responsibilities include preparation and serving of meals, daily kitchen hygiene and audit duties.
What you bring:
* Certificate in Food Handling: HLTFS207C.
* Experience in a commercial kitchen.
* Aged Care Experience as FSA/ Kitchen Hand
* Experience in the preparation and presentation of food for large groups.
* Ability to provide a high standard of customer service.
* Understanding of and commitment to safe work and hygiene practices.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Ability to understand and complete documentation in accordance with Food Safety Plan requirements.
* Ability to identify problems and a clear understanding of when to alert immediate supervisors.
* Pro-active and dedicated approach to position.
