As they continue to grow their services in Residential Aged Care Living, they are seeking a clinically qualified and experienced State General Manager – RAC to oversee residential aged care facilities across Melbourne.
About the Opportunity
Supported by a collaborative clinical and management team, this highly influential role will guide and coach General Managers, oversee staff engagement and performance, manage the overarching budget and funding in partnership with support functions, and partner with cross functional departments, i.e. Quality and Compliance, Finance, etc to embed programs that would ultimately deliver exceptional services for residents.
Key Responsibilities
Leading and empowering the team to embed a culture of patient‐centric care with safety and quality at the forefront of our services.
Develop and deliver the organisational strategy in partnership with the executive leadership team.
Participate in the strategic, business and budget planning process and report progress in respect to Residential Aged Care.
Managing governance across company policies, systems and processes including organisational risk framework, mandatory reporting, assets, and workforce management in partnership with the Quality and Compliance department.
Develop a culture open to staff learning, development and knowledge sharing always striving to be the best in the industry.
Oversee the collection and analysis of Residential Aged Care key performance indicators.
Identify and deliver continuous improvement programmes to current services whilst demonstrating inspirational resilience and professionalism.
Work collaboratively with the Quality and Compliance team to enhance the aged care quality systems and contribute to quality improvement programmes and other facility activities to meet service/accreditation standards.
Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (essential) with post‐graduate qualifications in Management, Business, Commerce or relevant field (desirable).
High level of knowledge and understanding of relevant legislative frameworks, standards and government funding models.
Extensive experience as a Residential Manager followed by Regional Operations / Group Manager experience leading multiple aged care facilities.
Demonstrated experience in driving performance and strengthening employee engagement.
Demonstrated ability to develop and integrate innovative and patient‐centric strategies.
Advanced business acumen with the ability to interpret financial and performance data.
Excellent remuneration package of up to $245,000 per annum
Laptop, phone and any travel from the head office to metropolitan aged care facilities reimbursed.
