Coastal GP Supervision Role in Bundaberg
This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced General Practitioners to take on a supervisory role in a beautiful coastal location. As a supervisor, you will have the chance to support and mentor junior doctors while also developing your own leadership skills.
The practice is looking for GPs who are registered with AHPRA and have a strong interest in education and mentorship. They should be committed to team-based, community-focused care and have a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Job Description:
As a supervisor at this practice, you will be responsible for supervising registrars under the PEP Specialist Stream, AGPT or FSP pathways. You will also be involved in chronic disease management, preventative health, women's and men's health, minor procedures, paediatrics, mental health care plans, and telehealth services.
* Supervise registrars under the PEP Specialist Stream, AGPT or FSP pathways
* Chronic disease management (GPMPs/TCAs)
* Preventative health, women's and men's health
* Minor procedures (within your scope)
* Paediatrics
* Mental health care plans and care coordination
* Telehealth services and aftercare continuity
In addition to these responsibilities, you will also be supported by an experienced onboarding and registrar support team. This team will assist with RACGP compliance and registrar integration, allowing you to focus on providing excellent patient care.
