We are seeking an exceptional and highly organised Executive Assistant (EA) to the CEO to join our team. This is a pivotal role within the organisation, providing strategic, administrative and organisational support to the Chief Executive Officer while acting as the central coordination point for the Executive Office.
About the role
As the Executive Assistant to the CEO, you will be responsible for managing high-level administrative operations, coordinating complex schedules, preparing Board and leadership meeting documentation, and acting as a key liaison for internal and external stakeholders. You'll represent the CEO's office professionally, maintain absolute confidentiality, and anticipate needs to enable the organisation's leadership to operate effectively and efficiently.
Key responsibilities
* CEO & Board Support
* Manage and optimise the CEO's calendar.
* Prepare briefing materials, presentations, pre-reads and follow-up actions.
* Support planning and execution of Board and Committee meetings.
* Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
* Assist with ELT meeting planning and coordination.
* Facilitate communication between CEO and ELT.
* Provide support to ELT members where required.
Executive Office Operations
* Act as first point of contact for CEO enquiries.
* Manage travel, itineraries, event logistics and expenses.
* Improve administrative systems and workflows.
Project & Strategic Support
* Coordinate CEO-led initiatives.
* Conduct research and prepare reports.
Skills & experience
* 5–8 years' experience supporting senior executives.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and minute taking.
* Proven ability to manage complex schedules.
* High level of discretion and professionalism.
* 6 months paid parental leave.
* 5 weeks annual leave + leave loading.
