Reporting to the Cluster Reservations Manager, we are looking for an experienced and dynamic Reservations Agent to join the on-property Groups Reservations Team.
The Full Time Cluster Reservations Agent is a cluster role supporting two hotels; Melbourne Marriott Hotel Docklands and AC by Marriott Hotel Southbank.
Responsibilities include: Handling and processing reservations and inquiries from all booking channels Analyse and update all traveller requests that are tailored to their requirements Pre-arrival check to ensure guest history is linked and relevant booking information is updated.
Follow up on No-Shows and late cancelations and process charges appropriately Proactively seek to generate incremental revenue via upselling, promoting hotel F&B Venues and other hotel services and amenities.
Fluent in selling room packages and higher room type Close communication with other hotel departments to ensure every guest has a smooth arrival experience.
