Service Delivery Manager for Community and Independent Services

Are you an experienced leader passionate about empowering people with disability to live fulfilling, independent lives? Midway Community Care is seeking a motivated, compassionate, and skilled Service Delivery Coordinator (CAIS) to lead our staff and ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centered disability services.

The purpose of this position is to oversee the provision of high-quality participant-directed support that ensures the provision of the Disability Standards is being met and exceeded across all allocated services. This position is the key link between the Service coordinators and the Operations Manager/CEO, who has overall responsibility for the development and delivery of our services.

Key Characteristics that will ensure success in this role will include
* Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high‐performing teams, including undertaking performance reviews, managing conflict and disciplinary processes, learning, development and succession planning.
* Skilled in supporting staff to deliver high-quality, participant-directed plans, strategies, routines, and support documentation.
* Ensure Participant plans, reviews and assessments are undertaken within compliance timeframes.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with participants, families, staff, and community stakeholders.
* Comprehensive understanding of the NDIS, Quality & Safeguarding Framework, incident management, and the use of community-based supports to achieve participant goals.
* Able to work strategically, creatively, and proactively to navigate complex issues and drive continuous improvement.
* Competent in managing operational tasks including rostering, compliance, reporting, budgeting, and service delivery outcomes.
* Provide training, role modelling, coaching and/or mentoring of Active-Person-Centred support.

* Demonstrated leadership experience in disability, community, or health services.
* Strong understanding of the NDIS and safeguarding frameworks.
* Excellent communication, planning and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to build team capability and support a positive workplace culture.
* High levels of integrity, professionalism and emotional intelligence.
* Ability to promote the services of Midway to relevant potential participants, families and parallel or collaborative services.
* Ability to establish an effective network in the Peel Region that supports the business development of Midway.
* A willingness to be on-call outside normal working hours.
* A strong understanding of the West Australian disability service system in line with the principles of NDIS.
* Substantial experience in the design and delivery of services for people with disabilities, including those with complex support needs related to all age groups.
* An understanding of the not-for-profit and community sector.
* Excellent organization, coordination and time-management skills.
* Eligibility to obtain a National Police Clearance, NDIS Worker Screening Check, current First Aid and CPR certificate, Police clearance (no older than 6 months) and a valid WA driver's licence.
* A road‐worthy fully licensed and comprehensively insured vehicle.

* Experience with direct care in the human services sector.
* Knowledge of practical issues affecting people with disabilities and the staff who work with them.
* Effective public relations and public speaking skills.
* Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problems and make decisions that enhance organisational effectiveness.
* Positively influence and role model for others to achieve results that are in the best interest of Midway's participants.
