GetCareers is currently seeking a motivated and reliable individual to commence a Painting Apprenticeship with a reputable Margaret River-based host employer.
This is a fantastic opportunity to build a rewarding career in the construction industry while earning a wage and gaining a nationally recognised qualification. You will receive hands‐on training and work alongside experienced tradespeople in a supportive environment.
About the Role
- Preparing surfaces for painting, including sanding, patching and cleaning
- Applying paints, stains and coatings to residential and commercial projects
- Learning colour matching and finishing techniques
- Using a range of hand and power tools safely
- Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Working alongside experienced painters to develop practical trade skills
- Delivering high‐quality workmanship across a variety of projects

- Reliable, punctual and physically fit
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Essential Requirements
- Current Driver's Licence
- White Card (Construction Induction Card)
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Ability to perform physically demanding work and work at heights
- Commitment to completing the full term of the apprenticeship
