About the Role
The School-Link Mental Health Clinician plays a vital role in bridging healthcare and education. This position focuses on early intervention, care planning, and cooperative mental health support within schools.
* Deliver specialist mental health services in school settings
* Support early identification and referral of at-risk students
* Lead suicide prevention and complex behaviour management
* Provide clinical education, consultation, and service planning
* Contribute to research, policy, and model of care development

Selection Criteria
We are seeking a candidate who can demonstrate:
* Proven clinical experience in working with children/youth in mental health or educational settings
* Strong understanding of and experience in working with schools
* Able to work collaboratively across professions and services
* Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of work within deadlines
* Knowledge of concepts of promotion, prevention, early intervention, and evidence-based practice in mental health
* Ability to collaborate meaningfully with children, young people, and carers/families with a commitment and understanding of recovery principles in mental health
