Overview
East Renfrewshire Adult CMHT have an exciting opportunity for the right person to join the team as a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse. The successful applicant will be responsible for the management of their own caseload as well as the management and supervision of trained and untrained staff, including students within the nursing team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive specialist nursing care, including the assessment of patient care needs and the development and evaluation of individualised care plans for clients who often present with complex health and social care needs. The team is part of the wider mental health and recovery service within East Renfrewshire HSCP and forms part of a friendly, supportive, well-established Multi-Disciplinary Team.

Shift pattern: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:00

Responsibilities
* Manage your own caseload and provide comprehensive specialist nursing care for clients with complex health and social care needs.
* Lead and supervise trained and untrained staff, including students within the nursing team.
* Assess patient care needs, develop and evaluate individualised care plans, and monitor outcomes.
* Provide leadership to regulated and unregulated professionals and contribute to the multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications and Skills
* Current, live NMC_PIN in the UK (essential).
* Experience at Band 6 level (or equivalent) in community or mental health settings.
* Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and to supervise staff and students.
