We are seeking a compassionate and proactive PALM Welfare Coordinator based in Devonport to support workers under the Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) Scheme. This part time role (10-15 hours per week) involves providing vital in-person welfare support to PALM workers from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, particularly those employed in the healthcare sector.

ABOUT THE ROLE
You will play a key role in providing day-to-day support, transport, and assistance to the ladies in our care, ensuring their wellbeing, comfort, and safety are always prioritised.
* Provide emotional and practical support to clients in residential settings
* Transport clients safely to appointments and community activities
* Maintain clear and accurate case notes and communication logs
* Support the development of independence and life skills
* Uphold confidentiality, dignity, and respect at all times
* Liaise with other welfare and support staff to ensure quality care
REQUIREMENTS
* Previous experience in welfare, community, or social support roles
* Valid driver's licence and reliable, roadworthy vehicle
* Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* A compassionate, patient, and professional attitude
* Be available for local travel to attend meetings, support workers on-site, and respond to issues as they arise
