WHAT WE OFFER
* Full-Time PERM Position: Located in the Gepps Cross SA depot
* Roster: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4 pm + Overtime (if required) + 7 Day Standby Roster scheduled every 12 weeks.
* Competitive rate: EBA rates $41.02 per hour + Penalties
Downer's Energy & Utilities business has opportunities for Full-Time PERM local Team Members to join our Gas team in Gepps Cross SA depot. Your responsibilities will include delivering high-quality construction, fault response, and maintenance activities on gas mains and services throughout the gas distribution networks in the Adelaide area. Other duties may include:
* Performing mains and services breakdowns, corrective maintenance and minor construction activities
* Providing reliable emergency response services during regular and after-hours operations to ensure a swift and effective resolution of issues
* Assist with ordering and installing materials and quarry products as required to complete the allocated works
* Carry out emergency maintenance to ensure the safe and continued supply of the distribution system.
ABOUT YOU
* Site Proficient: Pervious experience working within excavation, landscaping or outdoor work, with previous Gas, Civil or utilities experience
* Technically Proficient: Experienced in the safe use of hand tools and equipment required to perform physically demanding tasks
* Team Oriented: Have an ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skills and a commitment to safety.
* Site Qualifications: Hold full working rights in Australia, White Card - within the last 3 years. MR, HR, MC or relevant Truck Licence (required). Gas Test Atmosphere, Plumbing or Gas Fitter qualifications (desired) Must be clean shaven. Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical.
