About the Role
Our team supports individuals' independence by providing enjoyable activities and promoting physical activity, cognitive stimulation, good nutrition, emotional wellbeing and social inclusion.
We offer a range of group-based activities and social programs within the aged and disability sector.
Responsibilities
* Transport clients to our services using a 15 seater bus.
* Facilitate and deliver group-based activities and social programs.
* Promote health and wellbeing goals through consumer-directed practice.
About You / Qualifications
* A current medium rigid driver's licence and ability to drive a 15 seater minibus is required.
* You should have a sound understanding of the Active Service Model and how it relates to service delivery.
* Demonstrated ability to engage and work with diverse clients with a range of health and aging related needs is essential.
* Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance, Leisure & Lifestyle, aged care or equivalent is desirable.
* Ability to drive a 15 seater bus and experience in safe transport of clients is preferred.
