About The Role
As part of the Ashford Community Health team, you’ll deliver high‑quality generalist nursing care – including wound management, medication administration, foot care, and palliative care – to clients within the Ashford community.
About Us And Where We Work
Based at Ashford Community Health Centre three days per week, you’ll work alongside a supportive team with visiting services that include a GP, Podiatrist, and Home and Community Care.
Ashford is a small town in the Northern Tablelands of NSW that boasts a tightly knitted community and picturesque scenic countryside. Close to the thriving town of Inverell, Ashford is nearby Kwiambal National Park that offers great walks and many outdoor lifestyle activities.

What We’re Looking For In a Candidate
- A nurse who can work confidently and independently as the sole nurse on site.
- Someone who values collaboration and enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary team at Inverell Community Health.
- Demonstrated solid time management and organisational skills.
- Commitment to maintaining accurate and detailed patient records and reports.
- Authority to Immunise qualification highly desirable but not essential.
- Footcare and wound management qualifications, or a willingness to work towards achieving these within 6 months of commencing employment.
Requirements
- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Eligible to drive in NSW.
