and we are looking for interested candidates to join our world class team.
As
Assistant Spa Manager
, you will be an integral member of the Eliva Spa Coogee opening team and assist to deliver the daily spa operation and ensure guests have a luxury experience. You will also work closely with the Director of Spa & Wellness in establishing and maintaining operating criteria, adherence to protocols and standards, handle VIP guests, colleague engagement and deliver ongoing training of the team.
This is a hands-on role, so you will also have a genuine passion for delivering luxurious massages and therapies according to brand standards and protocols.
Assist to direct all daily spa operations including treatments, retail, memberships, and wellness programming
Ensure the team maintains exceptional service standards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Responsible for the overall daily operation and performance of the Spa, ensuring high standards of professionalism, customer service and optimum financial performance.
Be familiar with all services offered at the Spa and know the costs and procedures to be able to upsell and rebook all your guests.
Maintain a sound knowledge of all product ranges offered in the Spa.
Review the daily bookings schedule and keep updated with any changes at the reception on a continual basis throughout the day
Follow robust policies and procedures, protocols and training plans to ensure that all colleagues are provided with solid foundations for their continued success.
Deliver on the clear performance expectations (KPI's) and leadership competencies. These will form the foundation of your performance expectations.

valid work right/visa in Australia

Minimum of
two (2) years' experience as an Assistant Spa Manager / Supervisor
within a luxury hotel Spa, or upmarket independent Spa.
A Diploma in Beauty Therapy and/or Certificate IV in Massage or equivalent, with hands-on experience in spa treatments.
Skilled in delivering both high end facial and body treatments, with the ability to personalise each experience to suit guest needs.
Flexible availability to work a rotating roster which may include evenings and weekends.
Impeccable grooming, attention to detail, curiosity and innovation, and time management to ensure every treatment runs smoothly.
A strong understanding of the spa and wellness industry, with a calm, professional manner when working under pressure.
Commitment to meeting performance expectations through training and clear KPIs.
Deep knowledge of wellness industry trends, guest expectations, and service innovations and experience using spa management systems
A valid RSA is required and Police Check is desirable.
