This confidential search represents a rare opportunity to lead a well-established, values-driven agency through its next phase of growth.There are many additional benefits to working with this agency, and we are happy to share full details with you throughout the recruitment process.About the Role As General Manager / Managing Director, you will be thesenior operational and strategic leaderof the agency, guiding the organisation as it scales, evolves and strengthens its position as a premium specialist communications firm.Reporting to the Director, this role overseescompany vision, commercial growth, operational excellence, team leadership and client service quality.It is ahighly autonomousposition requiringstrong business and financial acumen, exceptional people leadership and a holistic understanding of integrated communications.High level key focus areas include: 1. Company Leadership & OperationsDrive business strategy, organisational structure and ongoing growth initiativesOversee commercial performance, P&L, forecasting and profitabilityReview and refine operational systems, processes and business efficienciesLead strategic planning sessions and monthly leadership meetingsGuide resourcing, workflow, capacity planning and divisional performanceEnsure sustainable growth across revenue streams and emerging service verticalsFoster a high-performing, supportive and positive workplace cultureLead the agency's progression pathways, performance reviews and 1:1sCoach and mentor senior leaders to elevate capability across all divisionsOversee recruitment, talent pipeline management, onboarding, remuneration and HR complianceEnsure best-practice staff processes, documentation and policies are maintainedChampion a workplace environment built on respect, collaboration and wellbeing3. New Business Growth & Market ExpansionLead new business acquisition across existing and emerging service armsIdentify sector opportunities and drive strategic profiling in key marketsOversee tenders, pitches, proposals and quotingBuild strong relationships across industry networks to grow the agency pipelineCollaborate with Directors on new service offerings and business innovation4.
