The Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bars & Events Manager to lead the renowned Eagles Nest Rooftop Bar and oversee functions and events across the property.
This is a hands-on leadership role within our Food & Beverage Department, with accountability for:
* Maintain a strong floor presence, engaging with guests and supporting the team during peak service periods
* Financial performance, cost control, and profitability
* Staff leadership, development, and team culture
* Compliance with licensing, WHS, and hotel standards
As Bars & Events Manager, you'll be a key driver of innovation, efficiency, and service excellence. You will work closely with the General Manager, Marketing Manager, Lamberts Manager, and Head Chef to deliver unforgettable dining and event experiences.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain a strong floor presence, engaging with guests and supporting the team during peak service periods
* Lead daily operations at Eagles Nest Brisbane and event spaces
* Deliver high-quality functions and events from set-up to execution
* Recruit, train, and develop the F&B team
* Oversee budgets, stock control, and pricing strategies
* Drive continuous improvement and competitive positioning in the market
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and partners
* Manage employee rosters, timesheets and leave requests
About You
We are looking for a professional with:
* Certificate IV in Hospitality (Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management highly regarded)
* Current RSA, RMLV, and Approved Manager's License
* Proven management experience in premium food & beverage operations (hotel experience preferred)
* Experience managing departmental budgets
* Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
* A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving innovation
