Structural Engineer Role Overview

Responsibilities:
* Assist in identifying, creating, and actively managing technical specifications, standards, and guidelines related to structural engineering.
* Evaluate innovations in structural engineering aspects, maintaining oversight and processing deviation requests to relevant technical guidelines, standards, and specifications.
* Provide input to the definition of information, insights, data, systems, models, and tools required for engineering and facilitate the exchange of knowledge and information.
Key Accountabilities:
* Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil or Structural discipline, recognized under the Washington Accord or Engineers Australia, with relevant experience in structural engineering.
* A valid driver's license (C class).
* Approximately five years of experience predominantly in structural design.
* Demonstrated experience in structural design of water retaining structures.
* Ability to investigate and challenge Sydney Water standards, Australian and international standards, and industry practice to ensure that the organization can innovate solutions.
* Exposure in working in a multi-disciplinary design team.
