Salary: $88,099 - $94,791 + SUPER + NFP Salary Packaging.

About The Role
The primary focus of the Kinship Care Case Manager is the effective case management for children and young people aged 0‐18 years in Statutory Kinship Care Placements, providing ongoing support to children and young people and their carers with their day‐to‐day challenges, improving outcomes and making a difference to the lives of children and young people we work with.
About You
* Demonstrated commitment and understanding for the values that underpin VACCA's vision and purpose.
* Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values and the ability to effectively communicate with Aboriginal children and their families.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with the ability to communicate clearly, respectfully, and in a culturally appropriate manner.
* Well‐developed written and computer skills with the ability to prepare reports (including court reports), maintain client records to a high standard, develop, implement, and review plans for children and young people and complete assessments including assessments of risk.
* Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Child, Youth and Families Act 2005, including knowledge of relevant legislation, policy and practice requirements relating to Aboriginal children, families, and communities.
Requirements
* Valid Police Check, a Victorian Working with Children's Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a Victorian Driver Licence.
* Current COVID‐19 vaccination (Strongly Recommended).
