Job Title: Permanent - Full Time Trade and Services Mechanic

About the Role:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced mechanic to join our Port Services Maintenance team at Berth 29 in Port Adelaide. In this role, you will maintain and repair Aurizon's mobile plant assets, ensuring their safety, reliability, and efficiency as part of a structured maintenance program.
Responsibilities:
* Cary out planned and unplanned maintenance on port mobile plant and infrastructure.
* Diagnose and repair mechanical / electrical faults and breakdowns.
* Conduct and adhere to risk assessments and WH&S procedures.
* Scope maintenance work and work with planners to prioritise tasks.
* Be available on-call for urgent breakdowns as required.
* Input and maintain accurate data in asset management systems.
* Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes and asset reliability.
About You:
We are looking for an individual with a strong background in mechanical trade experience, preferably with a Cert III in Engineering – Mechanical or equivalent. Additionally, experience in heavy diesel service, mechanical maintenance and fault diagnostics would be highly regarded.
Requirements:
* Cert III in Engineering – Mechanical or equivalent (Mandatory).
* Mechanical trade experience (Preferred).
* Auto electrical diagnostic skills (Preferred).
* Crane industry experience (Preferred).
* Ability to obtain Maritime Safety Identification Card (MSIC).
* Demonstrated computer and software skills (SAP experience highly regarded).
