Responsibilities
This is a senior leadership opportunity responsible for providing operational and professional nursing and midwifery leadership across Women and Children's Services within the Bayside Health Service. You will:
Provide strategic and operational leadership across maternity, birth suites, antenatal, paediatric and special care nursery services.Drive clinical and corporate governance, service delivery coordination, workforce management and resource planning to achieve service and organisational performance targets.Lead quality improvement, innovation, data analysis and fiscal management initiatives.Collaborate with executive leadership, multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to implement contemporary models of care and service redesign.
About You
You are a contemporary nursing and midwifery leader with strong clinical, operational and strategic expertise, committed to improving patient outcomes and workforce capability. You have:
Demonstrated ability to provide high-level leadership across complex clinical environments, with advanced knowledge of women's, neonatal, paediatric and family-centred care.Proven experience in financial management, performance monitoring, data analysis and service planning within a healthcare setting.Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and change management skills, with the ability to influence and inspire multidisciplinary teams.Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.

Redland Hospital is the major health centre for adults and children in the Redlands and Brisbane's southern bayside suburbs. We provide a range of services including emergency care, primary health and minor injury care, acute and subacute medicine, general surgery, maternity and paediatric, mental specialist outpatient and mental health care.
