Job Summary
This position involves ensuring IT systems and processes comply with relevant regulations and standards. The role requires developing and implementing compliance policies, conducting audits, and managing IT change management processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Create and maintain IT compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
* Plan, execute, and manage IT compliance audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for improvement.
* Ensure IT systems and processes comply with J-SOX requirements, including the design and testing of internal controls over financial reporting.
* Implement and manage ITIL processes to ensure efficient and effective IT service management.
* Identify, analyze, and resolve IT problems to minimize the impact on business operations.
* Oversee and manage the IT change management process to ensure changes to IT systems are rigorously evaluated, approved, and implemented.
* Conduct risk assessments of IT systems and processes to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
* Work closely with internal stakeholders, including IT, finance, and external auditors, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance-related matters and best practices.
* Monitor changes in laws and regulations that may impact IT compliance and prepare compliance reports and documentation.
Requirements
* 6-10 years of related IT experience.
* Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT compliance, audit, or a related field.
* Relevant certifications such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or ITIL certification are preferred.
* Strong understanding of IT compliance frameworks, J-SOX requirements, ITIL processes, and audit procedures.
