You will provide high-quality clinical care, education, and emotional support to clients—from initial appointment bookings through to assessment and understanding of results. With approximately 100,000 screening mammograms conducted each year, and 5% of clients recalled for further investigation, your role will be central to ensuring a compassionate and informative experience during what can be a highly sensitive time. This position is suited to a proficient nursing practitioner with demonstrated clinical experience and a commitment to excellence in patient-centred care. You will be accountable for your own clinical standards, contribute to the development of less experienced staff, and may be allocated portfolio responsibilities aligned with your career development. About You You are an experienced and adaptable Registered Nurse with a strong commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centred care. With a collaborative mindset and leadership capability, you contribute meaningfully within multidisciplinary teams while guiding and supporting less experienced staff. Registered or eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding or eligible to hold a current practising certificate. Minimum of 3 years’ full-time equivalent post-registration experience with demonstrated clinical competence in the relevant practice area. Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage workloads and support team development. Sound knowledge of legislation, nursing standards, quality improvement systems, and current healthcare issues.
