Job Title
Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Osteopathy is a vital role within our faculty. We are seeking an educator and health professional who can deliver quality teaching and contribute to the education of future osteopaths. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in osteopathy practice, a developing academic profile, and a growing engagement in research.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and Deliver Teaching: Develop and implement engaging and flexible learning experiences using blended and online technologies, incorporating interactive digital content.
* Enhance Student Experience: Foster an inclusive environment through flexible delivery, continuous improvement informed by feedback, and reflective practice.
* Curriculum Development: Contribute to and lead curriculum development and renewal in alignment with faculty priorities and discipline-specific needs.
* Research and Scholarship: Undertake research and scholarly activities that inform teaching, contribute to the scholarship of learning, and align with the faculty's research profile.
* Academic Service: Actively engage in academic service, mentoring, and leadership, supporting university initiatives, professional development, and external partnerships.
Requirements
* Education: PhD or progress towards in a relevant discipline, with current unrestricted AHPRA registration and ideally over five years of professional experience as a practicing osteopath.
* Teaching and Curriculum Development: Demonstrated capability in tertiary teaching and curriculum development with awareness of accreditation requirements and contemporary educational standards and practices.
* Research Track Record: Proven ability to design and deliver engaging and flexible learning experiences using blended and online technologies, including interactive digital content.
* Commitment to Equity: Strong commitment to equity, workplace health and safety, and cultural diversity.
Benefits
* Salary Range: $110,611 - $155,046 per annum, plus 17% employer's contribution to superannuation.
