About the RoleWe’re seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Mower Operator to join our dedicated grounds maintenance crew. You’ll be responsible for operating ride-on and push mowers across parks, reserves, and public spaces to ensure our green areas are kept in top condition.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate various mowing equipment, including ride-on mowers, push mowers, and whipper snippers.
* Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment
* Maintain lawns, edges, and garden beds to a high standard
* Follow safety procedures and report hazards
* Work independently and as part of a team to meet daily targets
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience of mowing or grounds maintenance
* Competency in operating mowing equipment
* Good physical fitness and stamina
* Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
* Strong attention to detail and time management skills
* MR or HR licence (desirable but not essential)
* White Card and relevant tickets (advantageous)
