**About our Opportunity**
As a valued member of our Customer Service team, you will be a part of a professional and close-knit team where customer service is at the forefront of every interaction. You will act as the liaison point between customers and internal departments, providing a clear flow of information by responding to enquiries and troubleshooting solutions to improve the customer experience. You'll be a specialist support to our customers and will enjoy being constantly challenged in this role while laying invaluable foundations to grow and take your career in any direction you wish within a brand that is a part of a national organisation.
In addition, you will:
- Process quotes and place orders into our ERP system
- Maintain a portfolio of customers
- Assist with showroom enquiries when required
**About You**
Ideally you'll have customer service experience within the building industry but primarily we're looking for a team player who has the desire to contribute to a positive work environment, who is agile, methodical and committed to providing an excellent customer experience. Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt your communication style to the needs of the internal and external customers is a must. You'll also need to be pragmatic in your approach to providing quality customer service with the capability of lateral thinking when resolving problems that arise.
In addition, you will bring:
- Competency in using MS Office Suite
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Exceptional time management and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities
- Previous experience in the manufacturing or building industry (advantageous but not essential)
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Ability to commit to Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 4.30pm working hours
