Continuing, part time (0.6FTE - 21 hours per week) role at our Blacktown campus with some hybrid flexibility
About the role
Operating within Exercise Science (Blacktown), the Lecturer (Exercise Science) will contribute to high‑quality learning and teaching within the School of Behavioural and Health Sciences through two key areas of responsibility:
* Practicum Coordination: Overseeing the coordination of practicum placements for Exercise Science students, including sourcing and scheduling placements, liaising with industry and community supervisors, ensuring compliance with ESSA accreditation and ACU requirements, and contributing to the development and delivery of practicum‑related curriculum and assessment.
* Schools Enrichment Program: Leading the Exercise Science Schools Enrichment Program, which introduces Year 11 and 12 students to university‑based practical activities aligned with the HSC/IB Health and Movement Science curriculum. This includes recruiting schools, tailoring and scheduling programs, coordinating staff involvement, booking facilities, and ensuring high‑quality student experiences. The Lecturer will also contribute to curriculum design, authentic assessment, and innovative teaching practice consistent with ACU's mission, ESSA accreditation standards, and ACU's Academic Performance and Evidence Framework.

* Total remuneration valued to $142,635 - $168,287 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $120,529 - $142,305 (pro rata) pa (Academic Level B), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
* 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed‑term staff.
* Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
