Aerobond Group
is a South Australian–based advanced manufacturing and sustainment company working in the aviation, defence and space sectors, offering specialist component services to the military, commercial operators and OEM's. As a privately owned organisation, Aerobond services a broad range of blue-chip aviation and defence clients across Australia and the Asia Pacific region including Qantas, Jetstar, Virgin, Alliance, Kongsberg and Boeing. With the establishment of a new 3,500 square metre facility in Woodville, in addition to their hanger at Adelaide Airport, Aerobond is experiencing organic growth due to increased demand for their speciality services.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the
Financial Controller
will take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, with a strong focus on cashflow management, project controls, manufacturing finance and compliance with contracts. The role is embedded within operations and project teams, providing practical financial insight to ensure disciplined forecasting, robust reporting and effective cost control. You will play a key role in shaping financial processes, driving efficiency improvements and providing guidance that enables the business to meet its commercial and contractual objectives, while contributing to the continued expansion of Aerobond's manufacturing capability.
A qualified Accountant, you will bring demonstrable experience in project-based or manufacturing finance and strong cashflow management skills. You will operate in a delivery-focused capacity, balancing financial oversight with hands-on execution to support business growth and operational excellence. Highly autonomous, pragmatic and solutions-focused, you will translate complex financial data into actionable insight for operational and executive teams. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential, as you will work closely with operations, engineering, project management and senior leadership to support decision-making, strategic initiatives and the development of a scalable, future-ready finance function.
