About the Role
We are looking for a Test Analyst to support the project by developing test plans, test cases, and executing test activities. The role includes participating in reviews, ensuring traceability between requirements and test artefacts, and contributing to high-quality testing outcomes within a complex program of work.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
* Develop and support the creation of test plans, test schedules, and test procedures based on system requirements.
* Execute test cases and participate in test activities throughout the project lifecycle.
* Contribute to reviews of test artefacts and related documentation.
* Maintain integrity and traceability between requirements and test materials.
* Work collaboratively with project teams, business stakeholders, and technical personnel.
* Participate in project meetings and provide input on testing matters.
* Apply ICT test execution methodologies and ensure compliance with project and industry standards.
Requirements and Experience
* 3–5 years' experience as a Test Analyst within complex, large-scale programs.
* Qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience (Defence industry experience preferred).
* Experience testing ICT infrastructure and security applications.
* Desired experience using:
* Network modelling and emulation tools
* Application simulation tools
* Security testing tools
* Network protocol analysis tools
* Strong understanding of ICT test execution methodologies.
* Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality test artefacts with full requirements traceability.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
* ISTQB certification (essential).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
* Effective time management and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
* Strong team focus with a proactive, initiative-driven approach.
