Bunge Grain Services (Bunbury) Pty Ltd – Bunbury WA
Bunge Grain Services (Bunbury) are seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as a Grain Receival Operators based at the Bunbury Port. This is a physical role involving manual handling tasks and site hygiene, with variety in grain receival, transfer and export onto bulk vessels.
Responsibilities
* Site hygiene of conveyors, screener, batch weigher, bucket elevators, hoppers, grounds
* Port terminal and bunker operations
* Operate machinery (e.g. lifting equipment, working at heights tasks, spotter)
* Test and Try Lock Out and Tag Out equipment
* Pre-shipping and post-shipping hygiene
* Assist the Maintenance team across all Bunge sites
Qualifications and Skills
* High level of interpersonal skills, including assertiveness, communication, and time management
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
* Ability to work independently and to carry out tasks to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
* Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
* High level of organisation and be able to manage multiple priorities
* Ability to participate in a flexible roster, including weekends and public holidays
* Valid Western Australian C class driver's license
* Be able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and randomised Drug & Alcohol Testing
Additional information
Applicants must reside within a reasonable commuting distance from the Port of Bunbury. Due to nature of shipping, applicant must be willing to work flexible roster, including weekends and public holidays (penalties applicable).
