Add expected salary to your profile for insightsBe part of something special – an amazing venue, an opportunity for an experienced leader to shape a devoted & passionate team, lots of happy customers.Chocolate Destinations Group is looking for an experienced Food and Beverage Manager to manage our Front of House and Back of House teams in our all-day café.Set on 15 acres of landscaped grounds, 10 minutes from Torquay on the spectacular Great Ocean Road, this unique tourism and hospitality venue has been carefully designed for locals, domestic and international tourists to enjoy year-round.This important and exciting role will see you working closely with our Café and Showroom Managers, Chefs and Back of House teams leading the passionate teams in our 300 seat Café which is open 9am to 5pm, 7 days per week.About youThis role is for you if you are a natural leader who has:Experience in Food and Beverage management in a high-volume venue.Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate, mentor and develop teams.Loves delivering on high standards of customer service, venue presentation, and cleanliness.Excellent knowledge of food safety and compliance with OHS in the food industry.Brings a 'can do', welcoming, fun attitude to work.Thrives in a fast paced, energetic, dynamic environment.Your roleAs Food and Beverage Manager, you will:Oversee all food and beverage operations in our venue ensuring outstanding service, profitability and memorable customer experiences.Ensure we maintain high quality standards of presentation throughout our Venue, and compliance with OH&S and food safety regulations.Bring a practical and hands on approach to leading our Front of House teams.Manage our Café Manager and Head Chef and their teams to ensure maximum efficiencies and run a smooth operation.Respond to guest feedback and take action to implement improvements as necessary.Oversee inventory management in Café and Showroom to ensure sufficient stock levels to drive sales growth.Be able to supervise, motivate & develop and coordinate the training of a team of up to 30.The position is permanent full time, working 5 days per week including weekends and public holidays.
