Overview
We're looking for an experienced AWS Apache Flink Developer to join a high-impact project in Sydney. If you're passionate about real-time data streaming and thrive in collaborative, problem-solving environments, this could be the role for you.
Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain Flink applications in Java for real-time stream processing.
* Deploy and manage workloads on Amazon Managed Service for Apache Flink.
* Collaborate closely with data engineers and scientists to integrate streaming solutions across data platforms.
* Optimise, monitor, and troubleshoot Flink jobs to ensure reliability and top performance.
* Implement best practices in data management, pipelines, and monitoring.
What we're looking for
* 7+ years of software development experience with strong focus on big data.
* 5+ years of hands-on work with Apache Flink.
* Proficiency in Java for Flink application development.
* Strong knowledge of AWS services, especially Amazon Managed Service for Apache Flink.
* Excellent communication skills – able to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* A problem-solver who enjoys teamwork and bringing scalable solutions to life.
