A specialist insurance-aligned legal team is looking to appoint a Senior Associate to its Sydney practice.
This position sits within a stable, nationally supported platform that operates differently from traditional private practice. Lawyers are encouraged to focus purely on the quality of their legal work and client outcomes, rather than fee targets or marketing responsibilities.
You will take carriage of a varied personal injury portfolio, overseeing matters from early investigation through to negotiated resolution or hearing. The role combines strategic input, hands-on litigation and meaningful client interaction.
What You'll Be Doing
* Running a portfolio of personal injury files autonomously
* Assessing liability and quantum issues and formulating litigation strategy
* Drafting court documents, detailed advices and settlement submissions
* Representing matters at mediations, conferences and court appearances
* Liaising directly with insured clients and internal stakeholders
* Providing guidance to more junior members of the team
Who This Will Suit
* Senior Associate (approx. 6 PQE) with established personal injury expertise
* Comfortable taking full responsibility for files and court work
* Strong technical drafting skills and sound litigation judgement
* Practical, composed and team-oriented in approach
