Jobwire is seeking a Junior Warehouse Storeperson to join a small, family-owned business with a supportive team environment. This is a permanent position, commencing with an initial 2–3 week temporary period to ensure the right fit for both the candidate and the client.
This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, grow, and build a long-term career in warehousing. For the right person, the client is willing to support obtaining a Forklift Licence .
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you’ll be involved in picking, packing, and general warehouse duties, with hands-on training provided.
What you’ll be doing:
* Accurate manual picking and packing of customer orders
* Labelling and preparing freight con-notes
* Building and wrapping pallets
* Loading and unloading trucks and containers (training provided)
* Replenishing stock and maintaining warehouse organisation
* Assisting with basic data entry and order processing
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment
What we’re looking for:
* 1 year of warehouse experience (or strong willingness to learn)
* Junior storeperson wanting to develop their skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Reliable, punctual, and professional
* Positive attitude and team-focused mindset
* Forklift licence is advantageous but not essential
