About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and professional Housekeeping Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Kingfisher Bay Resort on beautiful K'gari. The position requires a positive and motivated leader with a proven track record in delivering high housekeeping standards.
Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, you must be passionate about creating a skilled and positive team environment and prioritise the delivery of a premium guest experience.

This is a permanent part-time position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight. The successful candidate must be available for an immediate start and be able to relocate to the island for this "live-on" position.
Key Role Responsibilities
1. Support the Housekeeping Manager with workforce management, administration, rostering, and operational service of the entire housekeeping department.
2. Supervise and perform cleaning duties of hotel rooms and apartments in compliance with resort standards.
3. Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of guest rooms and provide necessary training to staff to ensure standards are met.
4. Supervise and mentor team leaders.
5. Oversee laundry, garbage disposal, and recycling processes where necessary.
6. Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to, including maintenance and HSE reporting.
Requirements
1. Minimum 2 years' experience as a housekeeping supervisor in a similar environment with meticulous attention to detail.
2. Ability to work effectively in a close team environment.
3. Current Australian driver's license (preferred).
4. Previous hotel or resort cleaning experience.
5. Ability to prioritise and organise multiple tasks and deliver results.
6. Exceptional customer service skills.
7. Proven ability to work under pressure and resolve problems.
8. Experience motivating team members to achieve targets and outcomes.
