We’re currently seeking expressions of interest for a passionate and proactive QHSE Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of our workforce, while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. This role will involve:
* Maintaining a close working relationship with our site leadership to understand both ACS and client specific QHSE requirements
* Being well versed with Site Safety Management Plan to identify gaps are identified and closed out
* Carry out task observations with teams and individuals to verify that our work is being undertaken in safety. Feedback, encourage and build awareness on the job to improve learning and management of risk
* Conduct planned audits and inspections to ensure that the operation is following site requirements, update action trackers and support closures
* Conduct safe work procedure reviews with personnel to verify they are current and revised as required
* Conduct job safety analysis for new or revised work processes, plant and equipment
* Lead or participate in incident investigation as directed. Action hazard, near-miss and varied incident reports by personnel including preventative actions
* Recording and uploading data onto Rapid Audit and Rapid Incident as required
* Ensure all catering operations strictly adhere to HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) principles and food safety standards
* Deliver QHSE training and awareness via toolbox meetings and shift pre-start briefings
* Deliver new employee site specific inductions and QHSE refresher inductions as required
What we are looking for:
* At least three years' experience as a Safety Professional in a site-based environment.
* Certificate IV Work Health and Safety
* Profound knowledge of remote catering and hospitality services
* Proven ability to conduct safety investigations (ICAM desirable).
* In-depth knowledge of legislative requirements related to Workplace Health and Safety and Food Standards.
* Self-motivated, adaptable, and hardworking.
