About the role
Steeline FNW, a leading provider of quality fencing, roofing and steel products, is seeking an experienced and organised Despatch Officer to join our team in Toowoomba, Queensland. As a full-time Despatch Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of our products to our valued customers.
What you'll be doing
* Coordinating the despatch of orders, including preparing documentation, and logistics
* Maintaining accurate inventory records and monitoring stock levels to ensure timely replenishment
* Troubleshooting and resolving any delivery-related issues that may arise
* Providing exceptional customer service by answering inquiries and addressing concerns
* Assisting with other administrative tasks as required to support the overall operations of the business
What we're looking for
* Proven experience in a despatch or logistics role, preferably within the manufacturing or distribution industry
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
* Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders
* Proficient in using business software, such as inventory management systems and Microsoft Office suite, NetSuite program an advantage
* A team player with a proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving
