Train Driver Job Description
A train driver is required to operate locomotives, including mainline and shunting, and examine trains to certify them for departure. They must work in accordance with safety and operational standards and procedures.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high level of on-time running, preparing and conducting brake testing on locomotives, and providing customer service to meet business objectives.

* They must also maintain records and reports as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Qualification: Certificate IV in Rail Operations (mandatory).
* Experience: Extensive freight and/or heavy haulage locomotive driving experience.
* Skills: Superior teamwork skills, flexibility, and a high level of safety awareness and customer service.
* Availability: Must be available to work 24/7 shift roster.
