Overview
The Geraldton Regional Aboriginal Medical Service is seeking to fill the position of Health Promotions Officer on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
* Provide culturally appropriate health promotion and education to GRAMS clients throughout the Geraldton, Midwest and Murchison regions.
* Liaise with government agencies, stakeholder representative groups and community groups.
* Develop policies and strategies for promoting health throughout the Geraldton, Gascoyne and Murchison regions.
* Maintain close working relationships with other officers and team members of GRAMS.
Qualifications
* Experience working with the Indigenous community is desirable.
