The opportunity
As Team Leader you will be responsible for leading and undertaking civil maintenance tasks including road repairs, road pavement maintenance and repair, road and footpath sweeping activities and general maintenance. The Team Leader will plan, schedule work orders and prepare costing information while ensuring team performance and quality standards are maintained.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Minimum of five years' (5) previous experience in a civil and road maintenance environment.
* Previous experience supervising employees and contractors and conducting practical staff training.
* Proficient in civil construction and road maintenance activities and equipment, including footpath works, operation of road and footpath sweepers, road repairs such as patching, potholing, surface treatments, dig-outs and associated plant such as flocon equipment.
* Current certificate in Basic Worksite Traffic Management.
* Current White Card.
* Current unrestricted HR (Heavy Rigid) class national driver's licence.
* Knowledge of materials and equipment, estimating, budgetary preparation and control, costing, scheduling and administration.
