Personal Care Worker – Dementia & Parkinson’s Care (Gold Coast South)
About the Role
Right at Home Gold Coast is seeking an experienced Personal Care Worker to join our dedicated team, providing high-quality care to clients living with Dementia and Parkinson’s disease in their own homes. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by delivering compassionate, person-centered care within a 24/7 rostered environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care, companionship, and support to clients in their homes.
- Assist with daily living activities, mobility support, and medication prompts.
- Deliver 6-hour care shifts and be available for overnight sleepover services as required.
- Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated care team ensuring continuity of care.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in dementia and Parkinson’s care is essential.
- A Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent (required).
- A Certificate IV in Dementia Practice (highly recommended).
- Commitment to ongoing shifts and ability to work across a 24/7 roster.
- Compassionate, reliable, and passionate about delivering exceptional care.
