About the Opportunity
This growing firm is seeking an Intermediate or Senior Accountant to bolster their Business Services team. The role offers an exciting opportunity for someone with 2+ years of experience within an Australian accounting firm, coupled with CA/CPA qualifications or willingness to complete.
Key Responsibilities
* Engage with a diverse portfolio of clients
* Prepare IAS & BAS
* Prepare financial statements and tax returns, including Div 7A, CGT and FBT calculations
* Provide advisory services with client contact from the start (if senior)
* Liaison with the ATO
* Maintain and prepare clients' financial records
* Exhibit excellent client relationship and rapport‐building skills (or willingness to learn)
Requirements
* 2+ years of experience in an Australian accounting firm
* CA/CPA qualifications or willingness to complete
* Proven experience in an Australian accounting firm
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
