Looking to broaden your dealership accounting experience? A respected automotive group is on the lookout for a capable Dealership Accountant to support finance operations across their multiple locations.
This hands-on role works closely with the Group Financial Controller and a fellow Accountant, sharing responsibilities across tax, reporting, compliance, and budgeting. You'll enjoy a diverse workload and the opportunity to contribute to process improvements across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform month-end and year-end reporting, including audit support
* Prepare accurate monthly management reports with variance analysis
* Reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts
* Manage BAS and FBT lodgements and tax compliance
* Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and fixed asset tracking
* Partner with internal teams to maintain strong financial controls
* Collaborate on system and process improvements
What You'll Need:
* CPA/CA qualified or working towards
* 3+ years in dealership or automotive accounting
* Strong Excel skills and exposure to DMS systems (Pentana preferred)
* Great communication and time management skills
